My Anise Rose

My Anise Rose

A Poem by Britteny

He was my anise rose

I do happen to suppose

With your soft red sweater

That scarf's seen better

Can I wear you round' my neck?

You're mine at my will and beck

Inhailing your sweet scent

You pound in my mind leaving dents

Unique as a white snow flake

I want your kisses to take

Me into love at the nines

My giant bassist's song

In his arms I long

To be

"We"
