Chaos

Chaos

A Poem by Britteny

As the orange pillars fell

And all looked unwell

As chaos and dust did fly

And ashes fell from the sky

A set of arms reached out

I did scream and shout

Lovingly they stroked and infolded me too

Those hands...arms belonged to you?

As rose the black cloudt dust

And my future started to fade to rust

As havoic and winds did mak me cry

And all started to dissipate and die

A set of eyes did shine bright

Those eyes they did know

When the wind would cease to blow

As the world went black and dark

And silent as the sleeping lark

As all felt isolated and so alone

And the cold shook my bones

A set of lips were there

I hoped they would care

Protect me and hold

For then I would never be cold
