The Evil Yuppies

The Evil Yuppies

A Poem by Britteny

The things that play in my head

Will be hushed left unsaid

All the things I would say to you

But can't because it's society's taboo

I wish I could hold you tight

Squeeze you with all my might

In my dear mind to stay

Even though your ages away

I am love sick at the fact

That I must stay intacted

and remain what is normal

For my actions to be called hormonal

Something I will outgrow

But there is something they don't know

Yuppies in their polished suits

Have never heard of loves pursuit

All they know is worldly gain

They don't feel love or pain

Because of this I show no remorse

And let the evil yuppies run their course
