Breath

Breath

A Story by Meagan
"

just read it to find out!!!

"

i'm swimming in the ocean. it is peaceful like a good dream. A huge wave is aproaching. Should i move or will it go away? i start slowly swimming. Then I start swimming frantically. Its getting faster and bigger. Behind it is set of larger waves. I told my self swim faster but it seemed like I was barely moving. the wave is almost to me. CRASH!!! It hits my face like a thousand knives, there's salt buiding on my teeth, Suddenly I can't breath. The surface of the water is slowly fading away as I sink deeper into the ocean. I kick as hard as I can trying to reach the top but still cant reach. I cant hold my breath any longer. the power of the waves keep pushing me all over in the water. I cant breath. i have to take a breath. I open my mouth... Then i woke up gasping for air. All the sudden i am in my bed its morning the birds are singing a sweet song out side, i smell the air... Pancakes are filing the air with their sweet buttery smell. My breathing has gone down everything is relaxed.

Yes, that person can only try to give you his/her hand, but if you don't reach for it...but those kind of persons who would endure the waves along with you are hard to find in this world. And if you manage to do so, those waves just might seem smaller...

Some waves cannot be avoided, no matter how much we want to...the best thing we can do about it is to accept the fact and prepare for it, so we won't be caught off-guard. Resistance is sometimes futile.
Good story. Deep.
