11.A Poem by Paigestar2004Just a poem I wrote in an actual science test in reply to "If you had depression, what decision would you make for a treatment?"
If I were depressed? Well I am that's just me,
I don't think you know how hard decisions can be, You make fluxotine sound simple like it's some kind of fun, But let me tell you this you don't feel sad just numb, As you're less destructive they think that you've fixed it, Just like any other class A you've become addicted. Being sent to social groups where all the "normal" people speak, Covering the truth now not numb just scary weak. CBT doesn't work unless you're completely ready, Vertigo all time high and expected to be steady, Rules state they'd tell family about attempts of suicide, Can't they understand it's another thing you have to hide? You try to explain to them that you're just always low, But after an hour meeting you've never felt so alone. So before you answer a hypothetical question on a stupid science test, Try and think, what it really is, to actually BE depressed.
