Construction

Construction

A Poem by Paige

Today I am sad, tomorrow I will be happy.
Maybe I just take the pills the doctor gives me because that is my comfort zone.
Pills make me feel like I am home,
And where have all of the good times gone?
There is no time for rock bottom when you are swimming to the top,
But I love the way rock bottoms feels, even when I'm drowning.
I've got my finger on self destruction,
My mind is always under construction.
One lane open, 3 lanes closed,
And nobody is taking my detour.
I don't want this anymore,
But everyday is the same.
Here we go again.
