Heights

Heights

A Poem by Paige

I've got walls built up so high,
I wouldn't dare a man to walk that flight.
One is unlikely to survive,
These walls cannot be torn down.

But I wish you would have tried,
I kind of feel like you lied;
When you said you weren't afraid of heights.
Now everytime I fall, I build another wall.

The next man who falls for the girl behind these walls,
Better bring a goddamn wrecking ball.

"jump, i'll catch you" he says...
she falls, he is no longer there.
and she climbs further up in her heart
