Pencil to PaperA Poem by Paige
You're a great big blob of nothing,
And that's the best part. Happiest when you're looking at art, Although you could never make it. But these thinderclouds in your mind, Stain this paper so fine; The art that you've been missing. You drop a tab and open your mind, For the depth these words can't find. You're sitting on a shelf of nothing, And that nothing is life. And what could make life bad? Except bad music and bad vibes. We keep opening our minds, Hopefully for the greater good. And now these lines I'm cramming in your mind, Will fill an empty space for a time. The words will ponder your mind, And eventually you'll rest. The colors don't have the answers, and neither does the sky. Close your mouth and open your mind, Put pencil to paper and you'll be fine. © 2019 Paige |
