Light Switch

Light Switch

A Poem by Paige

To find the light switch in a room full of black,
Touching every inch of the wall.
You've forgotten what the light looks like,
You're holding your breath to win this fight.
And the dark cold hands of the emptiness wants to consume you,
You feel you might just let it.
It's a cold world, but it's warm right here,
Please stop trying to dissapear.
There's a light switch right in front of your hands,
You were almost too blind to see.
Wash over yourself with light,
Doesn't it feel good to be here?
