Poisonous

Poisonous

A Poem by Paige

Your body is a temple.
And these frogs you've been kissing,
Leave toxins on your tounge.
They seep into your blood,
Making you too afraid to love.
Poisonous frogs,
Men are like dogs.
Breeding endlessly,
Leaving you used and abused for years to come.
But they haven't yet won.
You have a spark inside you,
A place where they can't find you.
A wall built up,
You don't know how to trust.

You lead blindly with your bleeding heart.
Hoping you don't get torn apart.
