Wishes

I wish to live free,

Broken of the chains that my own mind traps me in.

And sometimes breaking these chains is a daily battle.

I wish to feel free,

Sometimes my soul outruns my body, and catching up takes time,

But my soul is freer than my body, and my heart appreciates that.

I wish to feel love,

And no longer consume the toxic energy that other people have to offer,

But to embrace myself and who I am, and instead of letting others hurt me; love myself.

I wish to adventure,

This tiny town has never had much to offer,

And I can feel that I belong out in the world, meeting new beautiful souls, experiencing new beautiful things that this tiny town can never give me.

Wishing is easy, making these things come true is the real battle.

My final wish, the most important of all;

I wish for the strength to know my worth,

So someday, all my wishes can come true.
