It Hurts

It Hurts

A Poem by K. Carver
"

Everyone should relate. We've all had this happen. Not being able to be with someone because of something in the way.

"

it hurts ya know

when you love someone

yet you know you cant have them

it hurts expecially

when they love you too

yet he knows it wont work

it hurts when its something stupid

like seperations and denominations

such as different religions

and when you cant do anything

it hurts even more

just sitting back and watching it happen

but secretly loving him

is better than nothing at all

but it still hurts, ya know?

Rings a reminder from my own past. Religious views can totally be a wall sometimes, especially when parents are oldschool types and are constantly reinforcing the religious rules.
Kids get caught up in the crossfire, hearts racing with emotions that get yanked in multiple directions, none of which are the way they (the kids) think it aught to be.

Alot of truth told in this one. Many a person has walked in these shoes.

Here's a something to think about when it comes to Religious Organizations. They tell us to read the bible, they tell us to go to church. They tell us to be true to God. ??? Did God make the bible? no..man did, Did God make the houses of worship? Nope..man did. So why are they telling us to put so much of our time and effort into things that were made by man, not God? Good Question....
Better to go sit under an old Oak tree and pray to God himself. That's my opinion anyhow. :)

About
Yes. Well. Not much to tell, so not much to read. I write poems, mostly. I'm breathing with life. I don't believe that I'm quite successful at either. I do ask one request of anyone who may read this:.. more..
