Flying but Falling

Flying but Falling

A Poem by K. Carver
"

Hmm. "the wind blows, so softly, across my face..."

"

the wind blows

so softly

across my face

it begins to speed

gust after gust

taking me away

into the sky

i fly

so very high

like a bird

who has

just begun to fly

it amazes me

how high

i have become

i look down

to find

specks of dust

greens, blues, reds

and browns

everythings beneath me now

but suddenly i

begin to fall

out and down

but then

you catch me

without a second thought

This brings to mind the image of a snowflake being carried aloft by the winter winds to look down upon earth on christmas day. Then it to must go to the earth so that the young children may have a white christmas. Do not fear pour snowflake, you shall be part of something greater as a snow man rises from a field of white! :)

Just what I saw in it! Nice piece!

This is a great poem of freedom and trust. I like the flow to it.

About
Yes. Well. Not much to tell, so not much to read. I write poems, mostly. I'm breathing with life. I don't believe that I'm quite successful at either. I do ask one request of anyone who may read this:.. more..
