The Careless Hand

The Careless Hand

A Poem by Patrick Jinks

It’s the careless hand that pens us

Through paper scroll we seep

The strokes of quill unwritten

The wasted words we reap

The spreading void of blackness

We gather in the folds

The histories unscripted

The stories left untold

But to those who buy and use us

Let our message make you think

Be more careful with your writing

And never spill your ink.

An elegant warning to all who would rather spew venom, than carefully chose words to bind our fragile world.

well penned Mr Jinks

There is a depth to this and features that are carved quite eloquently. Thanks for sharing.
