Pride: party of one

Pride: party of one

A Poem by Paige

Bits of my tongue are all I have left
And as for my heart well I guess it's even less

I've chewed them to nothing and tossed them out
All for your closed lips and prideful pout

that was really good, it had alot of emotion in it, we sometimes sacrifice believes and things like that to please other people

Short but says a lot. Nicely penned. Nice rhyme and meter as well.

Sometimes we sacrifice a bit of ourselves when being there for another unconditionally.
