Life in past tense

Life in past tense

A Poem by Paige

Feet first into the rabbit hole
A name that speaks to your heart
Vivid paintings of faces you've never met but you know like your own
Grapple to your soul your jerked years behind
A whole new world or a burial you've already laid?
You've walked these feet and used this nose
And on your own coffin you've now placed a single red rose.
