That's What She Said

That's What She Said

A Chapter by Paige

You’ve got a chip on your shoulder

She said maybe you just believe too much

No one knows if you love them

She said maybe it shouldn’t be that easy

You look weird in those clothes too

She said maybe you just conform

You smell like those cigarettes

She said they burn out anyway

That boy’s untouchable, a waste of your time

She said maybe my hearts not got minutes to spare

Your writing’s a joke, no one gets it

She said isn’t that the easiest way to hide?

You’re wasting your time, what’re you doing with your life?

She said why don’t read my writing in all your spare time

Get your life together

She said don’t you know a life’s forfeited in the second you settle, you die.
