Drippin' Dandy

Drippin' Dandy

A Chapter by Paige

It was as if suddenly every part of my being was on fire.  I could feel pain searing skin and leaving scars, but I felt euphoric laughter erupting in my throat and sailing across my lips. The ugly lies that had held me chained to a boring monotony burned a brilliant orange and danced through the array of greens; the words I hadn’t had a chance to pen just yet. Blue and violet embers encased all that they could hold with their faith and morals, but the fury that held a pink tint along its edges could not be possessed or pushed down any longer. The passion of all my soul was a flame that burst through every barrier it came upon and ignited in a color undefined by my very cause; words.
