AGES: Past & Future Tenses are Words not Known to a Soul

AGES: Past & Future Tenses are Words not Known to a Soul

A Chapter by Paige

Born into a world too fast to live and die in just a life or too little time

Two souls can morph to the beat of the same rhyme

We pass in decades differing in ways

But somehow we have lived some of one another’s most influential days

How do I share the thought of someone else’s mind?

Well simple my friend some souls are two of a kind.

Lessons we learn

We all have a turn

But time isn’t present in the chambers of our brains

We keep that space free of life’s ticking clock and time’s rusted chains.

So age you say

 Is your mind’s pathway?

I say no, my mind

Has never been one of those kind

No “body” could hold a soul of such age

Not a body of tired anguish or one frustrated in rage.

You see a light in a younger girl’s eyes

How do you say you’ve lived her days and lied her lies?

You know she is alike the girl you were then

All the places she’s aspiring to go you’ve gone & been.

Advice in your heart

It could grow her future to a better start.

Strange is something of the way your souls can chat & share

This is how our pasts still live in the future they are given to another’s mind to keep it from being bare.

Your past life is living still

Her future is in the stars, partially yours, it’s real.

Pasts are divine they travel the years waiting to crawl inside another’s bare parts and make a fresh start.

Futures do the same they come from lives we’ve already lived long ago, you can say I’m wrong but you know it’s so.
