Blue InspirationA Poem by PatriciaStorm Writing
It’s what I crave It’s what is given
And what is absent On the most beautiful Days of their seasons
But when The sky drastically darkens A panicked pen scratches Then a torrid tapping of keys Blazing with a dark blue mood
Before neon blue, gold, and red Sky slicing lightening ends
Before the abusive winds stop Their temper tantrum, beating The trees with their own limbs
Before clouds break their Hold on one another As violent shadowy lovers Disappearing into the night
Before my heart slows Before my breath shallows Before it all ends as death
I am frantically scribbling With ecstatic electricity
My eyes go dry blind From the bright sun
The sky is a bland, boring, blue With uninspired, unwritten, beauty
I leave that to you © 2024 PatriciaReviews
