A Breath in the Wind

A Breath in the Wind

A Poem by Patricia
"

Late Night Writing

"

my beckoning breath

floating off into

the darkness

where he flows

like an age-old wind

that comes and goes

nomadic but not

without direction

or without reason

whereas I

feign both

yet, he comes

I stand before his

breath and bend

to his will

I am moved

I am stilled

I am ♾️ jealous of THIS! I wish I've written it or know how to do so! You were breathtaking and so now we are breathtaking... those mystical higher spiritual moments when words aren't enough to describe the feeling, yet You did it here, gloriously, sublimely, so deeply moving. ♾️ of 100 if I could!

You are so moved by a nomad but with reason and direction….” Like the wind that comes and goes” you are not so, but you are entranced by this “, moved and stilled” this is so powerful P, you are the antithesis of him, he moves you are still….beautiful….

I like your dramatic antithetical end. Profound! Feigning direction and reason caught my brain too. This one is really good. Felt confident, if I could use that to describe a poem.

Okay dear Patricia.
‘I am moved, I am stilled.’ I’m personally wowed by this line, truly just beautiful and the difference but the sameness between the two lines are just perfect and make the poem even more of a gem to read. The rhymes are spot on there’s so much to delve into and there’s just so much feeling to it. I love the passion in it, it feels like fascination and loyalty. Thank you for sharing.
