Stillborn Love

Stillborn Love

A Poem by Patricia
"

Lament

"

In a heartless

dead zone

worms feed on

a stillborn love

He lights candles

prays for resurrection

it’s a feverish mood

that comes with

the evening sun

A brood for the moon

a reset of regret

within the catacombs

of his mind

A caprice

inner eye comes

with sunrise and

a cold breath

blows out the flames

He gives the cold

Her name

a still born love is a dead, empty love; that comes with much darkness and regret; his mind is within the emptiness and depth of the catacombs, buried under mother earth; a cold place with no candle burning. His blood is cold but he has strength to name it. This is pretty dark P, and you said the weather is so nice and you're in a happy mood, yes?
I love it! and welcome back!
Hugs, B
