"Backwash" is a working title. I realize it's not the most exciting or intriguing but because it plays a critical role in the story, it's there simply for the sake of having a title.
Also, this isn't actually a novel. It's a short story around 16,000 words but separated into 7 parts, which is why I've decided to categorize it as a book.
