World of Insanity

World of Insanity

A Poem by Caitlin Nicole

You tell me I'm crazy, but honestly aren't we all?
We cry when we're hurt and laugh when others fall,

Our hearts on the edge of breaking,
From all the lies we've been taking,

So many theories, so many plans,
Some believe in karma, some believe it's out of out hands,

So many beliefs, so many convictions,
All of these religions just end in contradictions,

Some await the after life, for the world to end,
Some do what's right, some let their Rediemer mend,

Some say to love all, yet hate those who disagree,
Some think we're here to die, some we're here to be set free,

So who is right? The question still remains,
And until we find the answer, I think we're all insane,

For now I'm left to wonder what is to lie ahead,
I could sit here, think forever, but I think I'll live instead.
