Beach Days

Beach Days

Where gentle sea breezes blow,

caressing shores …

our sun-kissed bodies, radiant

against deep cerulean skies.

Private thoughts whispered …

lying on golden, sparkling sand,

holding hands ~ fingers entwined

we remember …

squinting in warm, bright light,

as frothy, windblown waves

playfully roll in-n-out.

Tender touches …

igniting old known passions,

only found echoed in our memories.

Watching life dance 'round us,

knowing we'll return …

sharing treasures

of our love.

Gee
I love Jacob's comment:)
A beautiful poem from a mind that has long since seen the first flushes of love but knows love oh so well.
Good morning Lisa

Hi Gee,
Yes, absolutely true. Thank you,
Lisa
A nice love poem here, bordering on the erotic. It makes us experience the sensations of the lovers. It makes us all want to experience such days.

Very romantic with an almost surreal feel. It is misty and dream like. Lovely Lisa

Much joy and fun. You are welcome Lisa of Spain.
A wonderfully alive painting, plus a mood that's as deep and beautiful as your words. You have a way of talking passion and affection hip to hip.. reality of how it can amd should be to last a lifetime. Perhaps?
May I share the shadows and memories it leaves behind, please, Lisa.
