Life's carousel of memorable times woven into a tapestry … what a beautifully metaphorical way of putting such enthrallment into the powerfully expressive Free Verse form.
Your syntax and diction are exceptionally well-rendered, punctuation and poetic voice virtually dance 'n prance around and 'round down the page.
So many fond times recalled from my youth and romantic endeavors sweep through my senses … I love the entirety of this one, Lisa. Only wee hint is to add a free space above the artwork, and above and below the title. Oh, yeah … your color choices tie picture and poem together so very well. Then, the carousel pony ending ties it all up in a bow.
I can hear the calliope now, playing its jaunty tune into my heart's boyish smile.
Thank you, Dear Lady-Poet, for sharing this wonderfully special poem! ⁓ Richard🖌

Your writing always gives that impression, the letters are at home with you.
