Carousel of Life

Carousel of Life

A Poem by Lisasview
"

Cherished dreams of yesterday Vibrant desires

"

Carousel Of Life

"Silky tendrils of bright sunlight

dance across life's vibrant carousels,

where hearts reach for gleaming golden rings,

as time quickly glides by....

Melodic music plays Hide-N-Seek games,

as parading painted ponies,

adorned in regal splendor,

strut to ambling rhythm.

Sweet kisses

awaken precious moments …

  cherished dreams of yesterday,

once vivid, now gently fade away.

New mornings, rich in vibrant desires,

with crisp white sheets flung back ...

warm, crimson hues fall ever so gently

upon cool, misty dawns ~ unfurling softly.

Caresses continue, sweet kisses linger;

love pours in, yearning only to stay …

 holding onto these fleeting moments,

longing to keep them forever undimmed.

The Carousel of Life … dancin' ’n prancin'

sweeps along its kaleidoscope journey,

lavishing, colouring each new dawn,

weaving ever-cascading moments

… of joy’s mystical memories

into life’s magnificently endless

tapestry of time.

Ahhh, Lisa, our ever-so talented Poetess🎖️

Life's carousel of memorable times woven into a tapestry … what a beautifully metaphorical way of putting such enthrallment into the powerfully expressive Free Verse form.
Your syntax and diction are exceptionally well-rendered, punctuation and poetic voice virtually dance 'n prance around and 'round down the page.
So many fond times recalled from my youth and romantic endeavors sweep through my senses … I love the entirety of this one, Lisa. Only wee hint is to add a free space above the artwork, and above and below the title. Oh, yeah … your color choices tie picture and poem together so very well. Then, the carousel pony ending ties it all up in a bow.

I can hear the calliope now, playing its jaunty tune into my heart's boyish smile.
Thank you, Dear Lady-Poet, for sharing this wonderfully special poem! ⁓ Richard🖌

A glance back in time brings vivid memories of yesteryear … fun loving, soft kisses , riding those colorfully painted wooden carousel horses… ( which by the way my great grandfather carved in Hungary) brings back memories to me as well; lovely poem Lisa….” Dancin and prancin”🌷

this poem was just wonderful. it's packed with so much colourful imagery, but also wisdom. that we should enjoy life, feel ecstatic, feel exuberant is the proper way to lead one's life. this is not not just a poem with some whimsical lines, there is a lesson here as well.

I just wish to say this but sometimes some people is just shy to review poems, As they feel they have nothing worthwhile to say as the poem is gorgeous or in the other hand maybe they just can not yet understand the poem. And I am similar with them. I also sometimes have nothing to say worthwhile to avoid wasting someone's time i wish not to review it. But since you asked. Plss do not give your poems worth because of reviews or views. This poem is actually lovely.

Thanks lisa..
I once wrote that memories wait for us, wanting to be found from time past. Must find it. Your precious words really mean something very personal: very Lisa. No doubt you alread know that.. but not everyone realises that words look for pre-made memories to find a special resting place.. home the finest and forever. Your writing always gives that impression, the letters are at home with you.
