Golden Moments

   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ * ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Silky waves caress mornings breezy shore;
woften lingered there long moments more.
Those sensual days we will surely miss,
recalling our memory’s midnight bliss.
Bright marigold sun poured glimmering light,
 glistening o’er us as we held on tight.
we stopped….
to kiss.
Pulling now closer to touch and to feel …
our love, no longer needing to conceal.
Awakening each others’ deep desire,
knowing nothing else would this e’er require.
Your sweet head upon my naked shoulder,
pondering our lives as we grow older.
 Wet, salty droplets like stars on your face,
formed silky, heavenly glittering lace.
Our love's devotion, through those many days,
allowed golden moments to stay ablaze!
 We embraced in our  yearning warmth ~ all night,
’til dawn’s glowing sun shined its vibrant might.
Bright, crisp, shiny: golden moments that shall sparkle for years and years!
You make your feelings and thoughts felt so beautifully in your poems. I feel like you are forcing this heart of mine that is suffering from love pain to love again. You are about to make me fall in love again. Your words flow in a very natural way, as if you stopped there for a moment and said these things while looking into the eyes of the person in front of you.
A beautiful poetic retrospective of a couple’s love for each other over time; remembering their younger days when they were fancy free to be full of life and sensuality….i love the vivid images of the morning scene with the sun reflecting off their faces; the morning breeze and the ripples of the sea…….fine write Lisa, the rhyming et al….
Warmly
B.
