Faeries

Faeries

A Poem by Lisasview
"

My poem is written in the structure of Bi~Trillets... Designed by Richard Jenkins ... a fun and wonderful way to put a poem together. My first try at this.

"

Faeries

In morn’s early mist veiled faeries exist,

circ'ling around tall ancient trees;

appearing magically with ease.

Gleefully singing, they'll be seen winging

amidst dandelions blowing,

sweet wishes ~ fluffy heads flowing.

Children up at dawn, wishing on the lawn ...

 tiny fairies to discover.

Flowers hide them as they hover.

Keeping out of sight, little hands hold tight

to swaying, windswept  grass blades,

in fear of sleepy sunrise  raids.

Never as it seems, only in ones dreams.

flittering `round their faerie ring ...

special mornings in Early Spring.

Showing ne’er a face, leaving not a trace!

 Farrr-off  music calls their names,

skipping ‘way….playing faerie games.

I was I the sky when I was reading g your beautiful poem dear Lisa. It's amazing. I felt I was a child, listening to my grandmother reading for me, while I was hanging out in fairy tales of my childhood.

Lisaviews,
I love this poem! Your work has a grandmotherly feeling to it, like a bedtime story to put me to sleep.

And why shouldn't we believe. We have only scratched the surface our known world, let alone got to grips with the vastness of different and as yet unexplored worlds.

Liked this a lot.

I believe that J.R.R. Tolkien might have loved this and possibly C S. Lewis. My grandma and all the children who grew up in the same season of my childhood and innocence would love it too. I wish you a recovery at the speed of light.

Reminds me of a story about Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, who was seen as barking mad for spending the last 30 years of his life believing in fairies and even hunting them, when it sounds fine, even quaint if we say he was a bit eccentric and followed his own path, or maybe it was the fairies path in life, which is what we all try to do. There's far worse things to be called and I doubt it harmed a single person what he believed. Maybe he would have proved their existence if we had been a bit nicer to him.
And is it really that weird anyway, when these days so many are convinced in so many weird things, like ufo's and let's not forget that a flat earth society still exists!
Believing what we believe is all that we need. Maybe fairies are even the real superheroes that didn't sell out to a franchise. 😊

When grown-ups (adults is too adult a word) stop seeing the joy of faeries and their hidden lives, they lose the delight and joy of that special hidden faerie world. The Child should lifelong remain in us, surely, says Em! What a wonderfully rhythmic faerie story you've laid before us, their secret forms of blossom and soil.. their ways, their fragility, their flower forms and touches of magic that only those sweet creatures have. I love this, am smiling.. today is already smiling at me. Thanks to you!

such an awesome treat for little ones desperately trying to find their faeries at dawn...but the faeries trick them and hide behind the flowers...perhaps they can hear them sing....but only in dreams....these are magical and little ones can pretend to actually be them.... they are alluring...and so is your piece Lisa with soft, smooth rhyme scheme...and the photo

I am not sure if guys are supposed to dwell too much on fairies but I have always had a soft spot
Much like Hummingbirds of fantasy and who does not love a happily hoovering Hummer
Probably the innocence of it all, no traffic jams or taxes to pay.
an enjoyable escape from a sometimes overwhelming reality
you have quite effectively added to their positive image with this piece
