Thirst for Love

Thirst for Love

A Poem by Lisasview

   Thirst for Love

        Fingertips play along his back,
        like tunes on a grand piano.
        Soft, fluid strokes I play
        moving to my tune.
                   ~~~
        Awakening, he turns …
        his eyes, the colour of stars.
        I move to him quickly;
        naked ~ pressing my body to his.
                   ~~~
        Whispering sweet nothings
        succumb to him …
        he takes me again and again;
        delighted, I watch him.
                   ~~~
        He leaves,
        without saying goodbye.
        I know he'll be back,
        again and again;
                   ~~~
        for, thirst of love
            continues on....

                   ~~~
your sensual poems are like songs one will listen to when feelings of romance and passions hit. even sadness, longing... yearning too. "his eyes, the colour of stars" I love this line it shows passion at the peak. wonderful...
I don't mind the odd negative comment so long as advice is offered off the back of it :)
Love awakens the deep thirst and fulfills the deep hunger. Never ending, humans surely come back for more and more. A fab poem full of those human needs.
You are welcome Lisa from Spain.
Pretty hot stuff here. Like all good erotica, there is no vulgarity, only the conjuring of sensuous images. I think, though, that were he a gentleman, he would at least have said goodbye. Then again, maybe I just envy the lucky b*****d.
Enjoy your evening, Lisa
We had a similar thought it seems, in one of my poems I mentioned something similar to your first stanza. Not saying it's not original, I just thought it was interesting that we shared a similar thought. I'm not into sensual stuff, but I still greatly appreciate this poem. It was put together quite well.
