A Problem Shared

A Problem Shared

A Poem by Georgia

I see it every day in your eyes,
You cover it up to the world with lies.
I can see what's happened here,
The reasons of this are very clear.

I said it once, a while ago,
It's still the same, doesn't it show?
I see your pain, I feel it too,
But there is nothing I can do.

I'm not the one you want to see,
The one you'd talk to isn't me.
I wish I didn't know all this,
I wish sometimes, it's me you'd miss.

I can't help until you tell me how,
But how long do we have now?
There's no time left to build your trust,
I can't let this fly away like dust.

It's tearing me apart inside,
How long can I let this hide?
How will we ever get anywhere,
When you are still so unaware?

I'm just another girl you don't see,
Yet I could be everything that you need.
I care every time I see you this way,
I read the posts almost every day.

I want to share the problems you hold,
It makes it better, that's the rhyme we're told.
I want your troubles to disappear,
I'm hoping the day for that is near.
