Broken Hearted

Broken Hearted

A Poem by Georgia

Now most of your tears,
Have fallen away.
But you still remember,
That tearful last day.

The love that he gave,
You didn't want it to end.
But as soon as that happened,
His love took a bend.

You thought he still cared,
But you were proved wrong.
And your heart is still playing,
That same, sad, old, song.

Nothing goes right,
Not even in dreams.
Although like a fantasy,
It's not how it seems.

And you're crying again,
Just as before.
And the lies will keep coming,
More, more and more.

And you will believe them,
Again and again.
Falling for lies,
Your mark, ten out of ten.

And your heart will be broken,
Again from the pain.
And the tears, they'll keep falling,
Like droplets of rain.

No more can you take,
Or so will you say.
But your life you keep living,
Through each time-wasting day.

The same heart-breaking story,
It keeps being retold.
Through the weeks and the days,
Until you grow old.

Fighting for hope,
As it keeps running out.
Though you want to give in,
You'll keep going, no doubt.
