I Love You

I wish you could hear this poem, 
I wish you really know how I feel. 
Love is something you'll always contain, 
And something you can't conceal. 

Love is the strangest feeling, 
Something from deep inside. 
When you have it you'll know about it, 
Until that love has died. 

I love you with all my heart, 
Oh why, why can't you see? 
That there is no other person, 
You're the only one for me. 

It started off on a Tuesday, 
We'd never spoken before.
Sparks seemed to fly between us, 
I thought it could grow to something more.

It was only me who felt that, 
You only saw me as a friend. 
Not even that at first I'll say, 
Because it's what I used to pretend. 

We would get closer and closer,
And that would grow to something more. 
I may be about to cry now, 
Remembering events from before. 

It only takes those three words, 
You know that you can't argue. 
I'll say it again and again and again, 
And over and over, I love you. 

Do you see what you have done to me? 
And how you've crippled my heart? 
I want us to be together, 
And never be worlds apart. 

Before a tear rolls down my cheek, 
Before this comes to an end, 
Know that I will always love you, 
Forever and always my friend.
