Prologue.

Prologue.

A Chapter by tir lunes;

Once again, the blinding memory of your dazzling smile is pulsating beneath the thin membrane of my closed eyelids. The aching hole you left behind is stretching once more"ripping and tearing along with the tides of my swiftly breaking heart. Like a whirling ocean current, the sheer might of its ferocity stuns me; I am helpless underneath its unrelenting glare. Waves of memories come crashing down around my shaking form, echoing the hysterical ringing within my ears. All I long for is peace, to finally be set free from the haunting grief that has surrounded me since your death.

I really like this. A lot. And using a set word limit is definitely a challenge, but I think one that will really force you to make good decisions about what you write down. Great work.
