Voice

Voice

A Poem by OJ

I hear the Voice.

Asking.

Questioning.

Demanding.

And I have no answers.

I hear the Voice.

Wheedling.

Teasing.

Mocking.

And I have no reply.

I hear the Voice.

Berating.

Scolding.

Humiliating.

And I have no defence.

I hear the Voice.

Soothing.

Laughing.

Singing.

And I have no fear.

I beg the Voice

Help me.

Support me.

Counsel me.

And there is nothing.

Nothing.

Nothing.

Nothing
