Pretty girl

There's a pretty girl sitting on the steps 

She has tears staining her face

People were mean and cruel 

Their words tore her heart to shreds 

All she wanted to ever do was be nice

Helpful and kind

A boy came out and dried her tears

He told her pretty girls don't cry

Helped her up and gave her a hug

Your prettier then anyone who can come to my mind

You shouldn't let their words get to you

Jealousy is all they know how to do 

They want your pretty heart, soul, and mind

Ashamed by how mean they can be they turn to jealousy

Don't let them get to you pretty girl 

Your hearts sweet and pure

Untainted by the hate of the world

Your still a very pretty girl
