A distant watcher

You can not acknowledge everything negative that comes your way. Stop it at the door and send it off peacefully.

The darkness that is negativity stands by the door and watches

Its the distant watcher jealous of your peace

Weakened by trust and faith it fumes

It grudges and sulks outside the wall 

Waiting for a moment to reenter and make life chaotic

The soldier at the door keeps it from entering

Standing guard through day and night 

A constant battle between peace and rage 

serenity and hate 

A battle for hope 

The light and the dark fight and fight 

Light is going to win

It always wins 

The negativity can only stand at the door to never enter 

It is the distant watcher
