The noon and midnight

The noon and midnight

A Poem by outspoken1234
"

This is about a boy and a girl who are complete opposites but still the same so they get along.

"
At noon the boy awakes
He works for six hours and waits for the midnight girl
The midnight girl awakes at six knowing she must meet the noon boy
At different times of the day they awake
One is midnight the other is noon
They still make it work
One is night the other is day
No more different then I can say
They love each other just the same
They sit and talk and play for hours on end
Never wanting to leave the other
But when midnight comes the boy knows he must rest
He reluctantly leaves the midnight girl to do her work
Goes home to the sun to sleep
At day break the midnight girl goes home
She climbs up to the moon
Curling up in its soft light
Sleeping away time so she can see the noon boy
With happy thoughts of his golden hair and shinning eyes
She lays her head to go to sleep
The noon boy wakes at noon
Thinking about a girl with silver eyes
She is the love of his life
She'll always be his as the sun is to the moon
Eternity will not be ending soon
