Child by the gates

Child by the gates

A Poem by outspoken1234
"

This is of a little girl who enters heaven for the first time

"
There's a house on a hill
Pearly gates shut tight
A little child sitting on a sill
Singing with all her might
A song of joyous praise
Not knowing a life of pain
She sings in the sun enjoying its warming rays
Not knowing when she first came
The savior stands here smiling
She runs and takes his hand
Having no fear of derailing
She's happy with tears in her eyes making her stand
Evil vanishes before her smile
She's a great light
Even though she's just a child
There is no spite
No height can enter this place
Days unending rays
It will always remain safe
Christ already paid
we're all washed in his blood
Even though were were dirty
Wiped clean by the flood
He will remain strong
