RainA Poem by Jessica RaeThis is a random spur of the moment poem I put togetherRain In the dark, I see your shadow creep across my veins, there is no sun, I smile at the sound of rain. Purity of silence pierces my heart, a meaningless love, complex like art. theft of my innocence, left me buried and cold, rising is more than just standing on my own two feet. It's not rewind or stop, its simply delete, You don't belong in my memory. It's like you stole pieces of my brain, I don't believe in sane, buried and cold I'll remain. Smiling, to the sound of rain.
