I did not mean to

I did not mean to

A Poem by Rachel Myers
"

I think this might be an apology.

"

I did not mean to make a home in the ruins of us

Sending you desperate invitations to return

When you left with a one way ticket

I did not mean to evolve into this sad creature

Spinning webs of denial to make myself stable

Using a mountain of off brand silk

I did not mean to become so entwined

Creating an instant tangled mess

Entirely knotted and coiled

I did not mean to blame myself for this

Drowning in the sea of your guilt that you left

Gasping for air (I can breathe again)

I did not mean to drag this on for so long

Listening to the sound of the gong

Signaling the end

Well this had a great deal of images, thoughts and emotions, near an over loud for the system. But this had a nice flow and charm.

I really like this poem with some interesting techniques throughout. I always prefer it when the artist puts more than emotional effect into their work. Although there is a large amount of emotion as well. Really good.

the genius of artistic living, you are really self expressive. You have real soul babe.

I like it. It really explains what having a conscious feels like. (Sorry if there are spelling errors in this review.)
