Everything

Everything

A Poem by MandarinOranges

I remember everything,

to great dismay of

the lonesome soul within.

I remember everything;

every tear wrongfully shed,

every whispered tale that ever fell

on these easily decieved ears,

I remember

every wasted smile.

Every satin touch of your skin upon mine,

every breath caught in abbreviated anticipation,

every night ever spent lying with you,

and every night since,

regretting them, crying for you.

I remember everything

yet, I keep it locked away,

buried in a box deep down

far away from the eyes

that always give me away,

Don't be fooled

thinking I've forgotten everything.

Don't be fooled

thinking I've forgiven you everthing.

Don't be fooled darling,

I haven't forgiven you anything!

Don't be fooled,

I will always remember everything.

I really like this! it has a bit of evil/angry tone to in in the end, but that really makes the poem turn out cool. Please review my book Zahra too!
