Love to Hate YouA Poem by MandarinOrangesI think the title says it allI love to hate you now that I know I really am nothing in your beautiful brown eyes.
I love to hate you for it makes me feel just a smidge bit better pretending I really am okay.
I love to hate you for stringing my mind along, to it's final brittle string, letting go without a second thought and watching me snap.
I love to hate you and try to make you jealous, loving other nameless men, wishing they could be you.
I love to hate you while I'm nailing the lid shut on my all to naive and broken heart, resinged to give up forever on this foolish game called love.
I love to hate you while hidden beneath this strong facade my soul lies, defeated and lost, hating that I really do love you.
