Dreamless Sleep

Dreamless Sleep

A Poem by MandarinOranges
"

thoughts that best left unspoken

"

Waiting for dreamless sleep, I swallow a few pills and still it will not come. Ok a few more, can't hurt can it? Waiting for everything, waiting for nothing. Wanting everything, getting nothing. Alone, always alone. Forever opening that empty heart to have it stomped upon again and again. Bleeding out all over the floor with no one to care, nope, not even me! Leave me be if you please...just let it all go. There is nothing here worth crying for. Never has been, never will be.

Hrmmm, green - the color of muscle relaxers, relaxing away the pain, relaxing away the torment, relaxing it all away....

This is a very interesting poem, but can I ask why it's green? Just a question, not criticism. Well done though, it was powerful, and everyone has those thoughts.

Your suffering is well expressed, even dough I would have chosen a different font. Reality often stabs our hart and the will for quitting, because of logical reasons is synthesized with great precision in your words.
