Sitting in SilenceA Poem by MandarinOrangesAnother old poem I found acribbled down somewhere.
I sit in silent contemplation, A million thoughts, images careening through my mind. Some stop, hover for a moment and forgotten pain sets in.
I sit in silent contempt Hating all I was, all I am and all I shall never become. Watching hopelessly, pugnaciously as life goes on around me, without me.
I sit in silent agony While helpless tears fall, stream pooling at my feet. Longing for a reprieve, relief from my damanged mind.
