Greed is the new God

Greed is the new God

The stealing of hope

"

Dull witted men and women stand at the water’s edge; they decide the fate of tides.

Slow in reason empty in words they control the seats of power.

Ascending thrones they regale in status of birth and cede.

Empires rise and crumble to ash at the whim of noble born greed.

Scholars are locked into empty space; no reverence is forded for intellect struck silent and demonized.

Bankers strut the halls of power and are treated as lords of all without question, as empires are bought and sold or laid waste for rapacious greed.

There is no room for a romanticist heart, no room for truth or love.

Meanings have been corrupted by lust, treason is now virtue, war is now profits for peace.

Set sail upon the divided seas, there are no new lands to pillage there are no safe havens.

God Mammon watches all that pass and extract a tribune in passing, the masters lay low the masses and control the word, the lies that pass as truths in this brave new world of illusion.

An unbalance scale that starves the many of dignity, hope and future, is weighed against the wants and needs of those who rule unchallenged.

The dull witted who stand and watch horizons and dream of conquest and wealth, rule the illusion of reality define the meaning of perfection.
