Inner tube

Inner tube

A Poem by wood grain

I can feel the sunlight through the walls
The feeling of light and drowsy
Closed eyes floating a sunlit ocean inner tube
Balmy heat of equatorial Pacific
The inner transportations of mind
Heavy fatigue, watery eyes, suspended, buoyant
Heavy rush of bamboo outside the window
The vacuum-suck of the strong inner world,
Towards orange bulbed rooms, waxy paint over
Cement blocks, buzzing appliances, distant rumblings
Of the outside world,
Wanting to feel that heat breeze
Wanting to move myself away from sorrow.
