SEASONS

A Poem by Kouhou Mei

My poem when I was nine years old.

Red and yellow leaves fall

Then no leaves at all.

And then they start to grow

Then no breezes blow.

As you know, they're seasons

With many reasons.

Some make you smile or weep

Some are in your sleep.

I googled up my real name to see what showed up. I was surprised to see my old poem from a poetry contest a few years ago. I changed where my real name was into asterisks. There's no way I'm telling anyone my real name. = 3=
