You

You

A Story by otaku-chan

You are a terrifying lover.
I love you.
I fear you.
I hate you.
I want to join you so badly.
I don't want to wake up in the morning.
I don't want to go to school.
I don't want to deal with anyone; I just  want to hide and never be found.
You always find me.
You try and get me to come with you.
I try and fight you, avoid you.
I tell of my pretty dreams in order to stay here and not follow you.
The dreams  that die and make me want to join you.
When something gives inside me, you tell me to meet you by the tree that you love.
I'll tell you that I have my own plans: I'm meeting friends.
You tell me to bring them and you'll bring yours.
Sometimes I go.
Sometimes I blow you off.
When I do go, we'll party at the ancient tree until morning.
You'll ask me to come home with you.
I never do.
I can't.
I'm sorry but I can't go home with you.
I'll go home with my friends.
You're still waiting there beside your friends, waiting for me to succumb.
The lonely rope waves in the wind when I walk up; and your pills always cry for my drinks.
My blade always calls for our wrist.
And you, death, waits patiently to bring me home.
