Like A CatA Poem by CarnationYou are like a cat, my dear.
You are like a cat, my dear,
You vanish as quick as light. But if I put a leash on you, You shall never be out of sight. Yet if I put a leash on you, You will never be free. You won't be able to roam the earth, Sailing the great blue seas. So what if I put a bell on you, You can travel anywhere. And all I have to ever do, Is listen for the bell, is that fair. You are like a cat, my dear, You vanish as quick as light. But if I put a bell on you, You shall never be hard to find. © 2013 CarnationAuthor's Note
