Happy Ending?

All good things come to an end?

Why am I not surprised?

Here in the depths of my

Doubtfulness my misery lies

 

Am I so jaded that I

Don’t trust anything anymore?

That no matter what I find

It’s not what I’m looking for?

 

I’ve let slip through my fingertips

Some things too good to be true

Don’t know what I’ve done

To deserve this pain I’m going through

 

Is there ever a happy ending?

Do people stay in love?

Is happiness something you make?

Or is it sent form above?

 

If you find true love

I’d assume your heart would know

You had better hold on tight

And never let it go
